Burned out Floor

So keeping with the abandoned warehouse theme, today I have a floor that seems to have experienced a minor fire.  Worth noting, this WAS a bottling plant for an alcohol company, so fires could be pretty powerful and spread like you wouldn’t believe.  I took the shot as shown below and bracketed it with a +/-2.

This is the original “shot” as out of the camera.  I love the floors in this warehouse, it’s almost like, the fire happened and then no one ever came back to do any cleaning afterward.  Anyway, from there, I took the brackets, ran them through my personal mix of settings in Photomatix, and then did some minor tweaking back in Lightroom.  Here’s my finished product.

Canon T3i – 50mm f/1.8 lens : ISO 400, 50mm, f/10, 6sec : 1.6sec : 25sec.

My favorite part of this post processing is the color and texture of the door, I just love the swirls of blackness in the wood.  Which one do you like, or do you like them at all?  What do you guys think?
